Union 12 | Columbia City, Indiana
I hope you are ready for an extremely bias blog post because that is what you are about to get because I LOVE this couple. Seriously, from the moment I met Matt and Maddy I have absolutely adored these two and am so thankful to have been the one chosen to be a part of their big day. So buckle up, because I am about to be so bias here, no regrets.
We could not have asked for a more gorgeous day for Matt and Maddy to tie the knot. Seriously a beautiful sunny, 80 degree day with a slightly breeze. I think mother nature is just giving me gorgeous weather because she was a pain during April but I am here for it. The weather honestly just added to this incredible day in every day. First I have to rave about the color palette. Matt and Maddy chose a gorgeous navy and fuchsia color palette. The guys looked so sharp in their navy suits, while the girls totally popped in the fuchsia dresses. Their color palettenwas further complimented by gorgeous colorful blooms throughout the entire day. This wedding was floral heavy and it was GORGEOUS. Seriously I am still dreaming about the flowers because they just popped with the color palette and made the day even more dreamy. There was also a gorgeous floral arch that was so dreamy. I loved the flowers and the color palette so much. It was perfect for a late spring wedding and was absolutely gorgeous against the backdrop of Union 12. The beauty of the entire day was just furthered by the gorgeous reception set up. Seriously the mismatched vintage flatware and cups were STUNNING. Maddy’s mom owns the company that made the gorgeous reception set up possible and I can not stop recommending her because she truly has such an eye for it and I literally still think about the reception tables. This perfect day was topped off with gorgeous weather, AMAZING food, and an absolute party on the dance floor. It was seriously the prettiest day to end my spring weddings with.
Now obviously I loved all the detials of this day, but I also loved the bridal party. The girls were all so pretty, so kind, and so sweet. They loved so hard on Maddy and it was so sweet watching almost all of them cry as she walked down the aisle. It was a bridal party of love and some of their closest friends and it was such a good group. The goodness continued with the guys who were an absolute party. They were so funny during photos to the point I was laughing so hard I was crying. They were absolutely tearing up the dance floor, and they seriously brought such a fun energy to the whole entire day. They also did a first look with Maddy and honestly they reacted better then any bridesmaids I have shot a first look with. They were showering Maddy with compliments and it was so sweet to see that both sides of the bridal party were genuinely close with both the bride and the groom.
Now, my favorite people of the day, Maddy and Matt. As stated in the beginning I love these two and I mean LOVE. The second I met them I just wanted to take them home with me because it felt like I had known them for years. They are two of the sweetest, most genuine people I have ever met. They both make everyone around them feel so loved, so important, and like they mean the world to them. I am convinced that these two do not know a stranger. They are the type of people that just bring such a joy to those around them. They are seriously two incredible people, and I am soooo thankful to have had the privilege of being their wedding photographer.
