Location: Chicago, IL
Venue: Laguna Lofts
This stunning wedding took place in the heart of Chicago, at a venue with the best of the best views of the Chicago Skyline. Seriously you can not get better skyline views then at Laguna Lofts. From the ample breathing taking views, to the gorgeous reception space further highlighted by incredible florals, to all the perfect outdoor spaces for incredible views, and gorgeous portraits, this wedding was stunning.
My favorite moments from Emily and Neil's wedding were when they saw each other for the first time, the Chicago skyline being the perfect backdrop for all the portraits and ceremony, and atfer these two said I do and achieved the perfect dip at the end of the aisle. This wedding felt like something out of The Knot, or Martha Stewart Weddings, classic and timeless, yet chic and upscale. This wedding truly was such an incredible day and I am thankful for couples who hire me even when I don't live in the same state!
Location: Columbia City, Indiana
Venue: Union 12
This colorful late spring wedding took place at one of my favorite venues, Union 12, a total Fort
Wayne gem. This day was filled with ample color, I am talking the most colorful florals,
gorgeous mismatching vintage cups and plates of every color of the rainbow, and bright pink
bridesmaids dresses, UM GORGEOUS. This wedding was one of those weddings where I could
not take a bad photo if I had tried.
My favorite moments from Maddy and Matt's wedding were when they saw each other
for the first time, and she told him he was not allowed to cry, when Maddy did a first look with
he groomsmen, and when these two said I do and completed their ceremony with their own
personal handshake before the kiss and a whole lot of celebration. This wedding was one of
those were I felt like family and left the wedding with a whole lot of hugs, which is always my
favorite thing. So thankful to have been loved on by Maddy, Matt and their family, as much as I
loved on them!
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Venue: The Sycamore at Mallow Run
This wedding was the end of an era for me. I photographed an entire friends group's wedding and MaKenzie was the final one! So bittersweet! I had to keep pinching myself with how gorgeous the day
was as a whole. From some of the most picture perfect details, PEEP THOSE FLOWERS, to the gorgeous venue where they
tied the knot, to all the perfect places for portraits this wedding and a very giving timeline it was
hands down one of the best weddings I had been apart of.
My favorite moments from MaKenzie and Colton’s wedding were their bride and groom portraits,
all the small and intricate details of their big day that were absolutely gorgeous and picturesque,
and these two’s incredible bridal party who made the entire day a massive
party. This wedding felt like something out of a magazine, and was such a gorgeous day for this
sweet couple. I could not have asked for better!
Location: Columbia City, Indiana
Venue: The Paddock
I live for a bride in a unique dress, and Ashlee's dress truly took the cake. A stunning white dress, with a pale blue floral design throughout with off the shoulder sleeves. I have truly never seen anything like it, and it will forever hold a place in my heart, but then again so does this whole day. From the stunning venue, to the gorgeous florals, to the sweetest bride and groom. This day was DREAMY!
My favorite moments from Ashlee and Ryan’s wedding were when they saw each other
for the first time, the amount of cheers that went up when these two said I do, and all the tiny details that came together to make this wedding an absolute spring dream. This wedding felt like something out of a dream or a Martha Stewart Wedding Magazine, seriously this venue, and it was thanks
to a incredible vendors and one amazing couple. So thankful to have been chosen to document
this wedding.
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Venue: Papermill on the Landing
Downtown Fort Wayne hosts a venue that I truly feel is a hidden gem, the Papermill on the Landing. This venue is a blank slate, able to be catered to whatever decor or theme you have in mind, offering ample space indoors and out for incredible portraits to take place. I am so thankful to have had the pleasure of photographing Meagan and Zach's wedding there. Between the gorgeous indoor space that included mural walls, brick walls, and stunning downtown views, I was in photographer heaven!
I would be admiss though if I didn't mention that my favorite thing about this day was how personal this wedding was. Meagan and Zach chose to make their wedding 100% them, forgoing a traditional white wedding dress, and choosing a theme that reflected them. This wedding was 100% Meagan and Zach and it was incredible! My favorite moments from this wedding were definitely the portraits, seeing these two say I do, and these two absolutely tearing up the dance floor! What an incredible wedding.
Senior Session
Location: Downtown Fort Wayne
Senior sessions hold a special place in my heart and always will, getting to capture those last fleeting moments of being in high school. Therefore every time a senior session pops into my schedule, I am just so excited. I actually knew Emily when she was little so getting to see her again and capture her senior photos was just such a privilege!
My favorite moments from Emily’s session included chatting with her and her mom during the session, Emily just having the cutest outfits, and the amount of time we spent laughing this session. This session was so joyous, it ended up lasting way longer than it was supposed to, but we were just having such a good time, I didn’t even notice! I love when a session is so joyous it doesn’t even feel like work.
Maternity Session
Location: Shoaff Park
Maternity sessions are always filled with excitement, and this one was no different. Jaycee and Cale were buzzing with excitement during their session, with only a few short weeks until their daughter arrived. I could feel the excitement in the air, as they revealed their name to me, which they were keeping top secret.
My favorite moments from Jaycee and Cale’s session were seeing their faces light up as they discussed their baby girl, hearing all about their gorgeous nursery, and the way they looked at each other. Jaycee and Cale were sneaking glances at each other the entire time, and I could just see how much love they shared for each other. I mean, just look at how they looked at each other in photos.
Milestone Session
Location: Downtown Fort Wayne
Milestone sessions are just the sweetest, especially when they are for your darling niece. But the best part about milestone sessions is you are freezing time at that age. I can not even begin to express how often you will look back at those milestone pictures, and how many you will print out to cover your house with.
My favorite moments from Harper’s session included bribing her with fruit snacks (yes, sometimes photos of littles taking bribing), running around chasing her to capture those candid photos and hearing her laugh as she twirled her dress around and around. Getting to spend an hour with her taking her three-year-old portraits was just the highlight of the month for me, especially because she is the biggest cheese, and loves when her Auntie Abbey gets to take her photos.
Family Session
Location: Private Property
I love when my wedding clients turn into clients for life, and that has been the case with the Wagners. I actually know Kendra from my childhood as she was my neighbor, but they turned wedding client, and now family session clients and I absolutely love getting to document them in so many stages of life!
My favorite moments from the Wagner Family's session were definitely the kids laughing together, seeing the family dog and how much she kept everyone on their toes, and getting to hear what each of the Wagner kids are up to. This session was seriously so much fun and it was even better that it took place at Kendra's childhood home and I was able to photograph the extended family after this session!
Family Session
Location: Shoaff Park
The Salway family has been repeat clients of mine for a few years! I first photographed their maternity photos for their first son and now I have photographed both maternity sessions, a newborn, and family session. I just love my repeat clients!
My favorite moments from the Salway Family's session were getting to talk to Maddox about school, seeing the amount of love these two brothers had for each other, and getting to capture so many candid moments for this family. The Salways were just professionals at candid photos, but it also might be because they could not help but smile when they were interacting and tickling each other. They were just the sweetest family.
"Abigail did more than perfectly shooting our wedding photos. She was efficient and prompt while still being extremely personable. I loved that Abigail was able to make all the photos happen in such a short time meaning we didn't have to make our guests wait a long time between the ceremony and the reception. Making sure the schedule was kept, while making sure everyone was having a great time during portraits. Everyone that I talked to afterwards talked about how great she was, even our guests loved her.We absolutely loved using Abigail and plan to use her for ANY and EVERY picture we need in the future. I could not imagine having another photographer photograph us."
