Location: Charlevoix
Venue: Castle Farms
This stunning destination wedding took place at a Castle in the middle of Northern Michigan but it felt like we were someplace right out of a fairytale. I had to keep pinching myself this venue did not seem real. From the ample breathing taking views, to the gorgeous reception space further highlighted by incredible florals, to all the perfect little nooks and crannies for portraits this wedding was something out of a dream.
My favorite moments from Morgan and Michael's wedding were when they saw each other for the first time, when Morgan saw her reception space fully decorated, and when these two said I do under a stunning floral arch surrounded by their closest friends and family. This wedding felt like something out of The Knot, or Martha Stewart Weddings and it was thanks to a few incredible vendors that traveled to make Morgan's dream a reality. So thankful to have been apart of this wedding.
Location: Columbia City
Venue: Union 12
This colorful late spring wedding took place at one of my favorite venues, Union 12, a total Fort
Wayne gem. This day was filled with ample color, I am talking the most colorful florals,
gorgeous mismatching vintage cups and plates of every color of the rainbow, and bright pink
bridesmaids dresses, UM GORGEOUS. This wedding was one of those weddings where I could
not take a bad photo if I had tried.
My favorite moments from Maddy and Matt's wedding were when they saw each other
for the first time, and she told him he was not allowed to cry, when Maddy did a first look with
he groomsmen, and when these two said I do and completed their ceremony with their own
personal handshake before the kiss and a whole lot of celebration. This wedding was one of
those were I felt like family and left the wedding with a whole lot of hugs, which is always my
favorite thing. So thankful to have been loved on by Maddy, Matt and their family, as much as I
loved on them!
Location: Wisconsin Dells
Venue: Wild Rose Ranch
This stunning destination wedding took place at a sweet ranch in the middle of Wisconsin but it
felt like we were someplace right out of a movie between the rolling hills and breath taking
ceremony views. I had to keep pinching myself this venue did not seem real. From the sweet
couple, to the gorgeous venue, for the never ending party, this wedding was such a great one!
My favorite moments from Jennifer and Josh’s wedding were when they saw each other
for the first time, the maid of honor’s amazing speech which told such a story of how these two
met in High School and ended up with two kids and at a alter, and when Josh brought his
motorcycle from the parking lot to be included in their bride and groom
portraits. This wedding felt like something out of a dream, seriously the views, and it was thanks
to a incredible vendors and one amazing couple. So thankful to have been chosen to document
this wedding.
Location: Toledo, Ohio
Venue: The Toledo Club
Toledo has the perfect hidden gem for a dreamy luxurious wedding venue, The Toledo Club. This venue is classic and romantic, offering ample space indoors and out for incredible portraits to take place and I am so thankful to have had the pleasure of photographing Chad and Taylor's wedding there. Between the gorgeous indoor space that included the original hardwood floors, to the outdoor space which offered a gorgeous backdrop for portraits, I was in photographer's heaven.
My favorite moments from Katie and Richard's wedding were the couple's unique favors of coffees from the place they went on a first date, to the place they went after they got engaged, photographing Chad and Taylor with the club's gorgeous interior behind them, working with the host hyped up bridal party ever, and Chad's parents tearing up the dance floor all night long. This wedding was filled with so much love for Taylor and Chad and so much joy over them becoming husband and wife.
Senior Session
Location: Downtown Fort Wayne
Senior sessions hold a special place in my heart and always will, getting to capture those last fleeting moments of being in high school. Therefore every time a senior session pops into my schedule, I am just so excited. I actually knew Emily when she was little so getting to see her again and capture her senior photos was just such a privilege!
My favorite moments from Emily’s session included chatting with her and her mom during the session, Emily just having the cutest outfits, and the amount of time we spent laughing this session. This session was so joyous, it ended up lasting way longer than it was supposed to, but we were just having such a good time, I didn’t even notice! I love when a session is so joyous it doesn’t even feel like work.
Maternity Session
Location: Shoaff Park
Maternity sessions are always filled with excitement, and this one was no different. Jaycee and Cale were buzzing with excitement during their session, with only a few short weeks until their daughter arrived. I could feel the excitement in the air, as they revealed their name to me, which they were keeping top secret.
My favorite moments from Jaycee and Cale’s session were seeing their faces light up as they discussed their baby girl, hearing all about their gorgeous nursery, and the way they looked at each other. Jaycee and Cale were sneaking glances at each other the entire time, and I could just see how much love they shared for each other. I mean, just look at how they looked at each other in photos.
Milestone Session
Location: Downtown Fort Wayne
Milestone sessions are just the sweetest, especially when they are for your darling niece. But the best part about milestone sessions is you are freezing time at that age. I can not even begin to express how often you will look back at those milestone pictures, and how many you will print out to cover your house with.
My favorite moments from Harper’s session included bribing her with fruit snacks (yes, sometimes photos of littles taking bribing), running around chasing her to capture those candid photos and hearing her laugh as she twirled her dress around and around. Getting to spend an hour with her taking her three-year-old portraits was just the highlight of the month for me, especially because she is the biggest cheese, and loves when her Auntie Abbey gets to take her photos.
Family Session
Location: Shoaff Park
I love when my wedding clients turn into clients for life, and that has been the case with the Anjorins. I first met Maddy and Matt in 2020 when I photographed their engagement, and since then I have photographed their wedding, maternity, and now two rounds of family photos.
My favorite moments from the Anjorin Family's session were seeing the love for Julius just pour out of his parents, seeing Julius’s face light up in smiles, and getting to love on Julius at the end of the session. The Anjorins have quickly turned into friends, so getting to see Julius is a normal thing for me, but getting to photograph him, the absolute best way to spend my morning.
Family Session
Location: Shoaff Park
Another incredible family came to me through my special needs minis, and I could not have adored them more. This was their first set of family photos since their youngest had been born, so I feel incredibly blessed to have been able to document their first family photos in six years.
My favorite moments from the Pratt Family's session were getting to talk to Kaiden about his love of fishing, seeing the amount of love these two brothers had for each other, and getting to capture so many candid moments for this family. The Pratts were just professionals at candid photos, but it also might be because they could not help but smile when they were interacting and tickling each other. They were just the sweetest family.
"Abigail did more than perfectly shooting our wedding photos. She was efficient and prompt while still being extremely personable. I loved that Abigail was able to make all the photos happen in such a short time meaning we didn't have to make our guests wait a long time between the ceremony and the reception. Making sure the schedule was kept, while making sure everyone was having a great time during portraits. Everyone that I talked to afterwards talked about how great she was, even our guests loved her.We absolutely loved using Abigail and plan to use her for ANY and EVERY picture we need in the future. I could not imagine having another photographer photograph us."
