Lakeside Floral Print Wedding at Cold Springs Resort

Cold Springs Resort | Angola, Indiana

Honestly I have been waiting for this wedding since Seth and Taylor booked, and honestly rightfully so. I know Seth and his family personally and that made me all the more excited for this day. Between the giant hug from his mom when I arrived, to the big hugs when I left and the comments about how they couldn’t have imagined anyone else being there to shoot this day. This was one of those weddings where I left saying, I freaking love my job. The best part is I basically get to do it again next year when Seth’s brother, Simon, gets married.

The details of this day were absolutely gorgeous, if we ignore how hot it was, but what else could you expect from June? Taylor and Seth chose a gorgeous color palette of tan and pinks, and then combo-ed it with floral print and it just felt like the perfect summer wedding palette, especially for a lakeside wedding. The lakeside summer vibe continued throughout the day and gave a really elegant yet laid back feel to their whole day. The florals were stunning oversized bouquets filled with lush greenery and gorgeous pink and white blooms. The bridesmaids floral print dresses were such a stunning focal point that I was so obsessed with. The pale blue color playing right into the whole lakeside feel, with the gorgeous pinks, reds, and greens in the florals on their dresses. They were seriously done so well. The guys tan suits added to the lakeside vibe and gave everything such a fresh and summery look. Honestly it was a unique color palette, but one I hope I see again as it was the definition of summer and was so chic and elegant, yet felt so earthy and relaxed all at the same time. The details just could not have been prettier and more summer vibes if it tried. This was also furthered by the groomsmen changing into Hawaiian print shirts during the reception. Not only was this such a vibe, but it was also such a good idea because it was high 80s and those groomsmen got so much relief changing out of their suit after photos.

The bridal party at this wedding was seriously so much fun. Taylor and Seth had a live band at their reception which was AMAZING, but at one point two of the groomsmen were on stage singing Don’t Stop Believing at the top of their lungs while the rest of the bridal party cheered them on. They were seriously such a fun group to spend the day with. The guys were hilarious during photos, keeping it lively and distracting from the heat. Their humor continuing throughout the day making them such an upbeat group. The girls were having such a great time during getting ready, chatting about the day, and they were all so sweet and just so excited for Seth and Taylor to be getting married. It was a bridal party that was definitely memorable for all the right reasons.

Seth and Taylor, while they wouldn’t say they are, are seriously so dang photogenic. I probably spent the most time I ever have editing a wedding simply because I could not have taken a bad picture of these two if I tried. Not only are they a super flippen cute couple, they are also equally sweet. Seth and Taylor spent their day loving on their bridal party, loving on their guests, and loving on Evan and I. They just are truly such a joy to be around and just radiate happiness. They also just both glowed on their wedding day, They were radiating love for each other the entire day, and you could just tell how in love these two were and how excited they were to be getting married and it was so sweet not only to watch but to capture. This is just one of those couples you know is going to be that old couple who is still just as in love as they were in the beginning.
