Fall is the busiest time of year for me. I eat, sleep, and breathe photography basically, and let me tell you, it is all worth it. Every single year photography just consumes me in the fall, but how could it not when the leaves are GORGEOUS, and the weather is perfect. I mean who likes sweating during their photos? With a jam packed schedule, I usually spent my Saturdays and Sundays shooting weddings and usually about 6-9 sessions a weekend. It is pure and total chaos, and it is my favorite time of the year. Which is why on my blog, you will see a ton of fall engagement sessions because boy are they popular.
I actually photographed Lizzy and Rasheed’s engagement only a few days before their session. If you want a recap of how nervous I was to photograph the proposal head over to Instagram and check out my 2020 Behind The Scenes highlight. But after all the nerves were over because she obviously said yes, and I got the perfect shot, Lizzy said I want fall engagement photos and I said see you Sunday and squeezed them in. Honestly after getting engaged in the fall, how could we not do fall engagement photos? Honestly it turned out to be the most perfect day with the perfect couple, honestly. I adore these two, totally and completely. They are some of the sweetest and most genuine people you will ever meet. They blew me away with their kindness, and interest in me, and truly by the end of their engagement session they felt more like friends than clients, which is always my favorite thing. They honestly also totally killed their engagement session as they are INSANELY photogenic. I mean it when I say I could not take a bad photo of these two, and I actually delivered the largest engagement gallery ever. Honestly their session was just the start and had me counting down the days to their wedding.
